Who’s heard of Romford? Not many I would say, but if you mention Essex then they’ll be more responsive. It’s not really fair on the Town of Romford, it is rich in culture and has many many famous people who have originated from this smaller town.

David Langham
Davis in an actor, born in 1970 in Romford, he has had a successful acting career spanning many years, most recently he is appearing in His Dark Materials a popular TV series.
Frank Lampard
Frank James Lampard OBE born in 1978 is currently a professional football manager. He is best known as a football player for Chelsea. He began his footballing career in 1994 for West Ham Untied youth team, He was awarded an OBE in 2015 for services to football.
Gemma Collins
Gemma Clare Collins born in 1981)is a reality tv star and businesswoman. In 2011 she started her TV debut by appearing in the reality series The Only Way Is Essex, following on from that many other reality shows such as Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing on Ice. Being the force of nature she is, she now has her own reality show, Gemma Collins: Diva Forever. Not bad.

Jessica Louise Nelson was born in Romford in 1991, she sprung to fame after joining a girl band called Little Mix, who won the X Factor in 2011. Little Mix have gone on to release 5 bestselling albums, numerous number 1 singles and many world tours.

Richard Holt Madeley born in 1956 in Romford, He is a producer and actor but best know for the orning TV show Richard & Judy, which he presented with his wife Judy Finnigan since 1986.
